KID-E-CATS BRAND GROWING STRONG IN ITALY

The Russian preschool hit Kid-E-Cats has been enjoying a great progression in Italy, and the series’ performance is catching the eye of numerous L&M partners. Initially broadcast on Nick Jr, the show premiered free-to-air last November on Cartoonito, where its share rose 20% above the channel’s average within two months.

Initially broadcast on Nick Jr, the show premiered free-to-air last November on Cartoonito, where its share rose 20% above the channel’s average within two months.

With Boing, Turner’s licensing agent on board, the Kid-E-Cats brand has secured deals with publishers Adriano Salani and Centauria and also Lisciani Giochi for boardgames. Now, toy powerhouse Giochi Preziosi is scheduled to distribute in the country the product lines created by global mastertoy partner Toy Plus starting Q4 2019.

Italian kids are also warmly welcoming Kid-E-Cats mobile and digital extensions: Picnic, the first mobile game launched by DevGame internationally last March, quickly entered the Top 10 on Google Play in both family and role playing categories in Italy, the country showing the biggest increase in downloads outside of Russia.
